We don’t do what we do for praise or personal gain. We do it because it is the right thing to do.
The impact of your donations isn’t easy to measure. There are so many factors, tangible and intangible, that proving a direct link between our school feeding programmes and the improvement in the children’s life chances is more difficult. That said, we know from other research sources (such as the IFS and School Meals Coalition) that there is a huge benefit; we just struggle to measure it!
So, when we get feedback from beneficiaries of the work that our donors fund, it proves the importance. And here are three letters that demonstrate it.
TO MY DONORS FOR THEIR SUPPORT
I am Brian Xxxxxx, a Form Four leaver from Nyeri High School.
I will begin by thanking the Almighty God for His protection and grace throughout the four years. Since the day Kelvin and Loise came to our home and said that there are donors who are willing to finance my school fees in Nyeri High School, the school I wanted to join. May God bless you for sponsoring my high school fees. Once again I say thank you.
I also say thank you for everything that you did to me when I was in the school.
I would also like to thank Loise for supporting me, grow in my character, and pushing me throughout when I was in school, especially when I was not performing well in my academics.
Finally, I have done my KCSE exam and I have left God to act.

It’s been four years of continuous cooperation and support from this great organisation. I got an opportunity to join you and sincerely I don’t think I would ever get such an amazing opportunity. This organisation has instilled values, social skills and great motivation in me. The motherly talks with Loise at home and Janet in school, the brotherly talks with Kelvin both at home and in school has built me to the man I have been.
The socialisation moments at Kujali meetings have built my social life and motivated me greatly. The peak of it all has been your financial support.
